Pagoda boxes!

In Woodturning, anything with a lid is called a box. I've been studying with Jason Breach, an internationally known box maker, and have learnt how to make what he calls a pagoda box. Because of the square top and bottom, making these is technically more difficult than a round box.....and that's what keeps it interesting!
I'm looking forward to making more, and especially to applying a Wabi-Sabi aesthetic to some. Come back for an update in a week or two.
