the Dorking Turnery's first two days course
Gareth did two full days giving him a thorough introduction to woodturning this week. He made a honey drizzler, a bud vase and a yew apple using spindle turning and an ash bowl. He made sure he listened carefully and showed great skill development. He left a very kind and positive review on Google as well, which I really appreciate. I understand he would like to come back and he will be most welcome.

Two great lessons for four great turners
Four people visited the workshop this week and had great success in their first turning experiences. I'm really enjoying starting people off in their turning journey. Who now where they will get to and what they will achieve? Great things, I suspect.

A repeat customer
I love repeat customers! We already have an understanding of what I can do to help and what I need to fulfil their needs. So I am much more likely to achieve a good result quickly and economically, to the satisfaction of all involved. These are six more ceremonial gavels for a charitable organisation. (I've already supplied 19). They're made of Newtonia wood which takes a beautiful gloss shine, and is dense and tough. Perfect for these. Don't they look handsome? How can I help you?
