The Dorking Turnery
Woodturning Tuition
Glenn offers friendly, practical woodturning tuition for complete beginners and intermediate turners.
After just a few hours in the workshop you will come away with safe technique, confidence, and something you’ve made to take home.
A woodturning experience makes a lovely, unusual gift, even for someone who doesn’t plan to take up turning. Paper or e‑gift certificates can be provided.

Who it's for
-
Complete beginners - learn the basics safely, tool control, and good habits from day one

-
Improving turners - refine your technique, troubleshoot problems and improve finishing
The Dorking Turnery is set up specifically for learners. All lathes are adjustable for height. Quality machines and tools are used and safety equipment is provided.
